The CCIDC web site is intended to serve as a tool to help consumers make good marketplace decisions about using the services
of a Certified Interior Designer. It is also for the free flow of information for Certified Interior Designers and a source of information and requirements for non Certified interior designers to become
Certified by CCIDC.
In the course of providing this online service, you may be asked for your name, address, email address and/or
other personal information. Our policy regarding the privacy of your personal information is described in our online practices as follows:

Information Collection and Use
As part of some interactions on this site you may be asked for your name, address, email address and other contact information. The information we collect is intended to help us improve the
content of our site, to provide you with accurate information about CCIDC, to provide Certified Interior Designers the ability to pay for fees online and to take consumer complaints. When paying
fees online, we ask for credit card information and our Web site protects the security of your personal information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which encrypts the information
you type in.
Our policy is not to divulge any information about Certified Interior Designers other than names of Certified Interior Designers by geographical area and whether their Certification
status is current to interested consumers, or disciplinary information if specifically requested.
For our records only, CCIDC maintains a log of requests from consumers who request names of
Certified Interior Designers or who
file a complaint. CCIDC does not, in the normal course of this action, contact the consumer again once the information is provided, unless a consumer volunteers to testify before a California legislative committee.
You may receive email, a telephone call or a US postal mailing from CCIDC as a follow-up to your initial communication with us,
or in the future, if we have any news or announcements we feel would be of interest to you.
If you do not want to receive any e-mail, telephone calls or US postal mailings from us in
the future, please contact us by email, telephone or US postal mail and we will promptly remove you from our list.
We will never share or sell your email address, telephone number, mailing
address or any other information you provide to us with other organizations or any 3rd parties for commercial or non commercial purposes.
